02:39 am - Quiet days.
On Sunday, xtricks, athenian_abroad, amberite, Aaron, and I all went to see Star Trek in the park, which we also went to last year. This year, the episode was Space Seed, the actor playing Khan wasn't quite up for delivering dialog that was quite that over the top, but it was much fun. Next year, they'll be doing Mirror, Mirror. Portland is an absolutely wonderful city with all manner of geeky joys - I love it here.

ALso, I'm very much enjoying seeing watching teaotter & amberite geek over their new shared hobby together. Both of them have gotten exceedingly into BPAL perfume, which for Becca means constructing elaborate Excel spreadsheets of particular notes that she likes and figuring out what new perfumes she's likely to enjoy, and for Alice, means trying lots of perfumes with interesting names and more recently buying some essential oils to try making her own - definitely a behavioral microcosm for them both. In any case, watching two people who I love share an interest is most wonderful. This is one of the aspects of polyamory that I most enjoy.

Becca is also nearing the end of final writing and editing on her (excellent) novel Graceland, which has been keeping her very busy and somewhat stressed for quite a number of months. I'm looking forward to that, both because I want to read the rest of it, I'll have more time with Becca when she's done, and she'll start getting ready to run her new RPG campaign when she's done. With luck, she'll be finished in around a week.

Akycha and I were just saying how fun Mirror, Mirror would be done live! I wish we could get something similar started here in Boston...
