I'm done! I got out around 5:00, and was eating donuts by 5:30 and a lovely chili burger and sweet potato fries (yay Burgerville, the local health & environment conscious burger chain) by 6:00. When they said the anesthetic would wear off rapidly, they clearly meant it. Two very small polyps of an entirely non-threatening nature (my dad also gets them), and all is well. Eating solid food is very good indeed.
