11:01 am - Biofeedback advice requested
I'm thinking of getting into biofeedback, something I've considered at various times. A quick examination of the available products reveals that the various EEG-related (alpha wave etc...) biofeedback machines remain prohibitively expensive. Galvanic skin response and heart-rate monitoring seem like an ideal combo to me, so I look on Amazon, and the low-priced system that does both (and also the cheapest system that does heart-rate monitoring) is the rather eccentric video game (if it can be called that) The Journey to Wild Divine.

I'm specifically asking now, because I'm planning to ask my rather wealthy parents for this or something similar, and a single unit that costs less than $300 would be ideal. I might also practice with finger temperature monitors, but those are quite inexpensive and can be picked by me later. Has anyone reading this either experimented with biofeedback or played this game? Would it be a good choice for serious biofeedback training? Do you have any other recommendations?
