Clearly, some people really love my work (start at post #53, and read down the next couple after that too). The pay for writing RPGs is not horrible, but is far from good, but I both love what I do, and enjoy spontaneous praise like this almost as much. I mostly think of myself as a solid but decidedly non-flashy RPG author who most people don't particularly notice. Clearly that's not universally true.

Once I became aware of you being you, I went back and looked at the things you worked on. Most of them are decidedly superior products, some are even favorites of mine.

The man deserves fans! Consider that I myself have on my bookshelf:

Faerie
Blue Planet
The Dying Earth
Exalted 1st. Edition
Exalted 2nd. Edition
Feng Shui: Golden Comeback
Transhuman Space: High Frontier
Aberrant: Year One
Shattered Europe
Stellar Frontier
Trinity Field Report: Extrasolar Colonies
Trinity Player's Guide
Trinity Technology Manual
Blue Rose
World of Aldea

*whew!*

That's a hell of a lot of excellent products to be associated with. It's one thing to do a single project; it means quite a bit more to keep on putting out hits after hits.

I like your work, too. Transhuman space Luna City is the most obvious example, but I do most of the new Changeling line, though I don't know what you've written there.

Also, Thousand Suns was good, but again I'm not sure how big your contribution was. Thanks for it anyway.

Oh, and I seem to remember seeing your name on some Traveller products? Is this just the product of my imagination or have you written something for some incarnation of Traveller?

Other than some on-line discussion with James, I didn't have anything to do with Thousand Suns.

I wrote some stuff for GURPS: Traveller, including two entries in the Minor Races: Humaniti book and a scenario that was electronically published by them. I also wrote a couple of articles for Marc Miller's Traveller (which, like so much else, the crooked idiots who put out that game came screwed up, adding typos into one of my articles.

Ok, there just was your name in the contributions in Thousands Suns, hence the idea.

And yes, now at home I remember seeing your name in some GURPS Traveller books. I don't own any Marc Miller's Traveller, which might even be a good thing.

Can you tell are you going to write stuff for the upcoming Changeling: the Lost books?

Nope, I was busy with other projects when they were assigned. I worked on the changeling corebook (I wrote changeling society & the goblin & seeming contracts) and on most of the previous supplements.
