11:08 pm - Unexpected tomato spam
I just got tomato spam in my email - specifically, spam about growing giant tomatoes. Upon seeing this, I looked over at teaotter and said - when I get spam about super-sizing something, I rarely expect it to be about my tomatoes.

Not a chance, it's oddly enough clearly about tomatoes. I've added a screen cap.

Wow... That's just amusing. Maybe I'll get one of those as the other variant is... next to useless for me.

Umm, Silvaerina, wouldn't that be "entirely useless?"

180 pounds? I'm picturing eating a half pound of giant tomato every day for a year.

I think they’re trying to play on the fears of people who are affected by the recession and wondering about growing food at home.
