The cats are all getting along well. Flash (the b&w spooky cat) & Josie (the super-friendly tortie) are very close, and both wrestle happily and groom each other, and they both also cuddle up next to Buddy some, which obviously makes him happy. Also, I was considering asking for advice here about getting Flash to be less skittish, but he's clearly getting better. He was friendly at the Humane Society, and started off hiding, but he occasionally lets people pet him on the couch (the details of when he is willing to do this seem utterly random), but he's allowing all three of us to approach more closely, and best of all, Becca and I have been sitting next to him while they eat, and he lets both of us pet him when he's eating. So, I'm assuming that in another couple of weeks he'll be even less skittish. In any case, here are two pictures I took of them today.

Current Mood: pleased
Love the "I will nonchalantly use the back of your neck as a footrest" pose. It's adorable to see cats draped all over each other.

showed me the footrest photo, and I just have to say that your tortie is stunning. (Well, they all are beautiful. I mean, they're cats. But you know.)
:) We definitely all think so - the precise line down her face, with dark on one side and light on the other, and the fact that her front paws are colored in the opposite fashion is particularly nifty.
Also, I hope you don't mind, I'd added you to my f-list - IME, people tangyabominy
regards as impressive and important seem definitely worth knowing.

Ah, please pardon the delete/doublepost; I had originally replied to this with my fandom journal. Which I keep very separate from this one, and doesn't have much on it of interest at the moment unless you read Loveless. =D

That's pretty common with torties, actually, the half-facial division. But I like the jester-like combo of having the paws be the opposite. ^_^ She has such a soft lovely blend all over, too.
And sure, I don't mind. ^_^ I may poke a bit slowly at reciprocating, but that's because I am a bit shy, not because of anything related to you personally.
I wish our cats cuddled like that. *florn*
Your tortie makes me miss my old tortie from when I lived with Jim and Shannon. Henrietta was their cat, a third cat recently adopted, and as i was the new Third Person, I was, therefore, hers while I lived there.
She was the epitome of Cute but Not Very Bright, and utterly lovable.
I wish to join the cat pile on the couch, especially today.
Tired cat is tired.
Come and visit, and you will be most welcome to join the cat pile on the couch (and there will be an entirely cat-free zone in the basement). I miss you!
It's nice that they're all able to get along so well. We tried to take in a kitten this past winter and our two adult cats were absolutely miserable. We ended up having to give the kitten away to a friend. What are their respective ages, if you don't mind my asking?
Buddy (the orange tabby) is 16. Josie is about 18 months, and Flash is about 3 years old.
Three cat pileup! Excellent!
