I have read and enjoyed quite a number of stories by Ellison. AJ introduced me to Ellison's 1993 story "Susan". Upon reading of his death, I briefly went looking for a copy to reread and discovered that doing so would take more searching than I felt like doing, and so I looked online, and found a video of Ellison reading it. It's quite a short piece, the video is less than 8 minutes long and is, I think, quite worth your time.
